The New Canaan High School Scholarship Foundation (NCSF) began in 1967 and is now in its 53rd year. Each year, need-based scholarships are awarded to deserving NCHS graduates who are pursuing higher education at the undergraduate level.  In 2019, 47 NCHS graduates qualified for scholarships through the NCSF, with the average scholarship being less than $2,200.

Students may be awarded scholarships from the general fund, and may also qualify for named scholarships which are created by donors in honor of an individual or organization.  The goal of the NCSF is to increase the amount of our general fund and to build our endowment.  Ultimately our hope is to ease the financial burden on the families and students by increasing the amount of each scholarship.
