The New Canaan High School Scholarship Foundation (NCSF) began in 1967. Each year, need-based scholarships are awarded to deserving NCHS graduates who are pursuing higher education at the undergraduate level.  “In 2023 the Scholarship Foundation distributed $150,000 to 41 deserving graduates and post graduates of NCHS for an average scholarship of $3,658.

Students may be awarded scholarships from the general fund, and may also qualify for named scholarships which are created by donors in honor of an individual or organization.  The goal of the NCSF is to increase the amount of our general fund and to build our endowment.  Ultimately our hope is to ease the financial burden on the families and students by increasing the amount of each scholarship.
